Are You Stuck On Where To Buy Candle Plates
As a long time avid lover of candles and candle accessories I was thrilled lately to get gifts of two gorgeous candles plates, both very different. They were both completely beautiful and from 2 folk who both know me well.
It was interesting to discover how they each understood me when selecting the candles plates. One was a friend who I have famous for a very long time and who knows me very well.
The other one was a friend from work, who also knows me very well. Both plates were gorgeous and both plates were absolutely different. I love them both for very different reasons.
The 1st candles plate I received was a frosted glass square candles plate. It was sublime looking and suited my ivory square pillar candles fantasically. I really love the effect it made. When I asked my friend why she choose this candles plate for me she announced she felt it suited my dining room perfectly, which it did, because my dining room is extraordinarily conservative, unlike me, and she revealed it would look lovely on my dining table, which again it probably did.
She told me it suited my conservative nature which made me laugh a bit (It's amazing how wrong someone can read you, even after knowing you for years). I?m probably the very the opposite of conservative, but I must be a good actor in work and come across as a sophisticated woman, which I am able to be when I want to, naturally.
The second candles plate I was given was a frosted red candles plate and it looked warm and perfect. I actually like it and it's lovely sitting in front of the fireplace in my lounge. My chum reckons it suits my fiery character and being a red head I might definitely have to agree. I've got some beautiful red colored scented candles which go superbly with it and when they are lighting it creates a wonderful warming atmosphere in the room.
It?s superb the difference some candles can make to any room, transforming it from a bright cold room to a warm cosy room, where you would like to curl up and let go. I think That I should have been born in bygone days when there wasn't any electricity and everyone used candles all of the time. Then again, maybe I like all of my mod cons too much. I don?t think I?m the washing by hand sort of girl.
Both candles plates probably do sum me up and show different sides to my character, and if I had to choose my favorite I’d find it complicated. I like the red frosted candle plate, thanks to the lovely warming effect it creates and, I also love the frosted square glass candle plate which truly gives my dinner table a stylish touch.
In actual fact I most likely could not select between them. Fortunately thanks to good mates I have both do not have to. What a fortunate girl I am.
