Yeah, and then an Armored Truck
agreed the beatles stopped shows too soon! unfortunately!!!
Intresting 2 years before this the Beatles were coming out of Limos, now this 1966 footage shows them taking a bus.
thankfully paul has been singing a day in the life in his current shows, and some others that he hadn’t sung on stage, so we can hear them for the first time live.
That is why they made Pepper. It was an album made so you couldn’t reproduce the same song live. Now, now-a-days you can, but back then it was something new, and it would have been impossible to do so.
It’s a shame this was their last concert with audience(the one of the rooftop was an audition) they could have performed great songs such as a day in the life or lovely rita from Sgt. Peppers.
their misic was progressing. they couldnt have done tomorrow never knows on stage.
I know, man. I saw the Anthology. Still it was a big mistake and I guess you’re right, cuz they were getting tired of touring anyway.
Actually, it wasn’t his fault, what he said was taken out of context by the American media. He was referring to British fans paying more attention to the Beatles than Jesus, and he was pointing out that kids should pay more attention to Jesus.
Either way, the Beatles would have stopped touring anyway, despite the controversy of the ‘Popular than Jesus’ scandal.
John did not accidently say the Beatles were more popular then Jesus.Agian a fool missquotes my friend. It was in referance to a question some news guy asked & John stated–at that time–kids were paying more attention to the Beatles craze then they were the religon so it was taken out of context just like you have done.
Sad you try to cut down some 1 you know nothing of or why they stopped touring ect.
You were not there or part of it–you only guess on the dogmatic crap you read or heard!
things started going downhill when they went to the Phillipines.. then John accidently said that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus. Then they stopped touring.. =’(
